Really fun course even if the distance was a bit off. Having the first mile downhill definitely helped...if only I could get that time on an official course sometime this season. I guess we'll see. Felt totally fine the whole race, probably could've even pushed it more. Cooled down with the team by doing the course backwards....I then proceeded to die after the cooldown and spent the whole rest of the day sick. Wahoo.

Still not feeling 100% after running myself sick for the second time this month. Cut down the mileage a bit (I'd gone over yesterday anyway) and had Kaylee lead me like a blind woman when it was too sunny...I'd just close my eyes and hold her ponytail so the light wouldn't bother me and trigger another migraine...the things we do to keep running...

The warm up mile turned into a steeple chase thanks to the sprinklers, and the rest of the run was just "easy" pace. Chilled with the second group of guys today because Waston and Gan have abandoned me, and we held a solid 7:30/mile so that was nice, it definitely got me feeling ready for the skyrim tomorrow. Shoutout to Baby Eastmond for being my running buddy today!

Pretty sure the skyrim workout we did today is my new favorite. Held the 600s pretty consistent, my splits were 2:07, 2:07, 2:06, 2:06, 2:03, 2:02...which isn't bad considering the hill at the start. I was in the second group of boys, but I was feeling really good during the workout, so I ended up leading the group for all the sets besides one, so that was cool. Cooled down with the guys on the grass and did the usual abs and hips after.

Just a recovery run, I chilled with the second group of guys again. Pretty toasty with the late start, but we still held a nice 7:44/mile, so not bad considering how sore I am from the skyrim.

Watson and I were up bright and early this morning, but after melting in the heat yesterday, running at 6am felt really nice. The legs were pretty stiff from the last couple days, so it was definitely recovery pace at 8:06/mile. Just the usual abs and hips after.
